He is one done with Honduran Rosewood Burl that came as a free gift in a box from someone when I ordered something. What a great blank to send along as a freebie!!!!
There is a nice knot and crack that goes all the way around and had to be filled. A very nice feature of this piece. I made sure it was cut to show that off.
The fit seemed pretty good but the finish was not the best. I carry it around and love using it. People grab for it and want to look. Good introduction to what I can do for them if they like. :biggrin:
It even has gotten an offer from a local store to present a few for possible inclusion in their shop. That would be a big win!!

PS The white dot on the right of the pen in the first pic is an artifact of the photo and not on the original.
