First attempt at a JR Emp. Blue BEB courtesy of Bill @ AS.
Just put in a 14K nib from Anthony (after this pic).

I know the picture is not the highest quality =)

Please resize your pictures to 640 x 480. That thing is gigantic. Also, you might want to consider using a smaller f-stop on your camera to increase the depth of field, maybe even moving the camera back from the pen some and cropping with the editing software.

OK, this picture is much better. The pen looks pretty good but parts of the pen are pretty dark.

Joel,
I looked at this pen in your pdf file on your website and the picture is night and day!

Beautiful pen. One thing that you may try on the next Jr. Emp is look at the lines of the hardware. On this particular kit the lines are asking for straight barrels. Yet you have created a wonderful pen that will surely sell!

Well, on this pen, I used super glue from Walmart.... I'm sure the experts are shaking their heads... I really didn't know what I was doing. I put like 5 coats of super glue on and then sanded with MM a whole lot. I think I am going to try a new method next time =)

Thanks for the helpful comments, everyone.

Compliments to Bill Baumbeck on the blank, too - it was a freebie!
Guess thats what you get when you order $700 at a time ;)
