I made this one for myself tonight. It's actually more of a colbalt blue TS blank. It had some imperfections in it - like fine gold thread.

Jr Antony (I am actually an Anthony Jr. :) myself) Black Ti and Gold. I am not a gold fan, but the solid cobalt blue and gold CB would look decent.

It's also the first time I used "my" buffer on TS. It worked great.

I did find this color hard to turn - having to sharpen my rough gouge and skew at least 5 or 6 times per barrel. Maybe, I just stink at sharpening.:biggrin:

I will take another pic tomorrow with the better light to show the true blue.

The lighter colors are much easier. I turned a black with gold webbing that wasn't bad (so much for that rule of thumb). Exotic's website does a good job of informing you as to what to expect. Believe it or not, I found it easier to turn than the Simstone or gemstone (sp?). They say to use carbide on those.
