Hey Mal. I used fish paper/vulcanized paper.

I used regular wood glue and my bench vise to squish it together. Had to wait for a while for the glue, but I have lots of other things to do in the shop, so no biggie.

And ... of course ... you had to do that multiple times for the same blank ...
