I've been struggling with the bog oak - got it to wet 35% moisture and it dried too quick!! Anyway here one is!
Note the grain marks - these are salt intrusions and demand your attention - great holes suddenly appear - I leave the wood real proud and sand coarse til nearly there - this seems to help. Real dirty work - a guess you would be after 7,000 years underground!
