IRISH BOG OAK NAVIGATOR

This is the first of only 3 blanks I got from Mike Shue (russianwolf) I never knew how dark the wood could be. This was turned for a Chrome Navigator/baron. As usual polished to 12k mm then used ca/blo and polished again to 12k finished with two coats of ren wax. More masculine than my last post.

Sweet. I've made that pen on occasion too, and really like it. I was supposed to turn another this weekend but the AC is still taking too much time from my day. Well I at least have Friday off and will get some shop time.
