iPad Stylus

Here is a quick picture I took of an iPad stylus I recently made to use with my iPad 2. It was made by using a slim aluminum stylus from Best Buy. I took the clip off the stylus and measured the diameter. I then drilled a hole in the blank that the stylus would fit in and then turned the blank to the appropriate size. I then used a clip from a long click kit and turned the finial with a tenon that was the diameter of the hole in the long click kit. I drilled a corresponding hole in the end of the blank to accept the tenon and glued it in with the clip in between. The wood is Escarpment Black Cherry and the finish is CA, of course.

Sorry for the less than stellar picture and the lousy background. I was in a hurry and photographing some things for my website that needed my large photo booth.

That looks pretty good! Just bought stylus' similar to that for my iPhone and to butcher for a wooden version!
