Inspired by Oklahoman

Roy Robaldo has posted a series of beautiful bakelite pens with different tube colors (including the current home page). I have neither Roy's talent nor the bakelite, but I was inspired to try an experiment with a white pearl resin. Here's the result of the first experiment:



Not everything I expected, but it's interesting enough that I think I'll try some more experiments.

Yep. I painted the tube with wide-ish bands of red, green, and blue separated with narrow stripes of white.
