About a year ago I gave one of my 30-06 pocket pens to a friend and gun nut. He gave me a couple 20 mm brass casings and said when I got ambitious, make him a pen out of one of these. After seeing the .50 cal. pen that Les showed off the other day, I decided it was time to try it. Thanks Les. I put it with a 30-06 pocket pen on the left and a .50 cal round on the right for comparison. The bullet is oak, and I used aluminum for the insides, so it is not as heavy as it looks. It is a handful, but writes nice. Thanks for looking. All comments welcome and appreciated.

Gary, That is one very formidable looking pen! Gives new meaning to the phrase that the pen is mightier than the sword. I like the look of the golden oak with the brass casing. Very nice pen! Regards, Doc
