That is really a nice pen. It might do well as an unofficial souvenier done in team colors where possible. One of these days I want to get up my never to try some inlay ideas.

Really nice Ron. I think it's the perfect amount of inlay to accent the pen without overpowering it, and the thinner centerband is definitely working on this one. Can you post a picture of the full pen?

Beautiful work Ron, you're truly a craftsman. I hope you'll be willing to describe the process of creating such fine inlay work and post it for a wood butcher like me. How can you possibly cut such small parts so precisely? Surely you didn't use somthing as cumbersome as a router for such precision.

Dave, I used a table saw.

I have a half finished article to show how to do this. If I get some spare time I'll see if I can complete it this weekend.
