When I received this blank from exotics, I was very surprised how heavy it was. I turned it onto a Lotus Rhodium/Black Titanium Fountain pen. When I turned this, I used plastic polish and I think I overheated the blank, it ended up egg shaped. Back to turning it round and it turned out ok. The blank for some reason wouldn't produce a shine, so I finished it with a couple coats of med ca and it turned out well. Comments/other? Thanks! This is also a teaser for my PITH...

Beautiful pen! And thanks for the tip re CA on the Tru-stone -- I have a couple Tru-stone pens (like you, Imperial Jade is one of them) which don't seem to hold a shine very well and never dawned on me to use CA .
