Imperial/Amboyna Burl

Thought I would post the process from wood to pen.

I wanted to get as much of the red in the pen as possible. Finished with 7 coats of string instrument lacquer.

You were right to use the red heartwood as it is a gorgeous colour, lovely finish my friend!
