I made this Southwestern over the weekend! I cannot believe I waited this long to make it...it is a beautiful kit and it was also my first time turning tru-stone....I must say, it was very easy to turn...like butter!

That looks awesome Michelle. Well done. Nice matching kit, and truestone is great. What did you use to finish it? Can you tell us about sanding. My experience with truestone standing, I find it very hard to take out the scratch marks. What grits did you use? Did you cross sand?

Great job Michelle! I like the kit as well and have done them mostly with antler but that is a beautiful combination. One quetion - the kit is by itself - heavy (IMHO). In your opinion - how does the tru-stone affect the overal weight? Thanks!
