In the absence of a rose engine, I've tried some engraving with the CNC mill in a herringbone-like pattern. The barrel and section are nickel silver, the cap is ebonite. It's beefy, but I like a heavier pen. Thanks for looking.

Bouught my Rose Engine over a year ago and have yet to use it. This makes me want to get going on it.

That is a great pen! The lines are beautiful. Is that stainless?

It's a particularly tough piece of nickel silver -- harder to machine than other alloys I've tried.

Here's one way to get one. I've had the plans for years, someday I may even build one!
