IBO and Copper on a Spring Blossom

Had a request for a couple of Irish Bog Oak pens. I usually finish IBO in wax, but I noticed the start of a crack when I was sanding. So once sanded I applied 2 coats of medium CA and whilst the second was still wet I sprinkled some powdered copper over it then applied a 3rd coat of CA. Sanded it back some and MM middle 3 pads then 4 more coats of CA. Usual MM and Novus to finish.
Really pleased with the way it turned out......pics don't do it justice.......but will definitely use this technique again.
