This is probably my favorite non-wood blank that I have turned. The bad news is I have no clue where I got it, if I bought it or if it was a "freebie."

At least it turned out OK. This blank had great depth to it and really looked nice with a name etched and filled with silver paint (sorry, no pics...). Comments/suggestions always welcomed!

Nice pen! That looks like a blank called "Ultramarine" that used to be sold by Beartooth Woods and Woodcraft. It's not currently on either website, so it may have been discontinued.

Did it look similar to this one, other than color? If so, it's the one I referred to above. http://www.beartoothwoods.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=22_60&products_id=695

Dan,
The link sent me to a blank called "carrot" that was orange?

The name you gave me does sound familiar, though, and I have purchased most of my acrylic blanks from those two sources. Thanks for the help, maybe I can find one of those again next time I'm at Woodcraft!
