While rumaging through the trash bins at a local wood shop I found several pieces of Koa sandwiched in between two pieces of Walnut. Enough for about 10 pens or so. Decided the first pen from it needed to be a Sierra. Mylands three step, TSW and Ren Wax.

Rumaging thru trash cans, is that the same as dumpster diving? If so then I need to take the dive. [:D] Gorgeous wood and pen.

Yeah, free wood is great. my dad owens a lawn care business and is all the time triming trees and branches. I get to keep all of it i want.[:D]
all it cost me is the end grain sealer. also nice pen

I love FREE...any free stuff is good [:D] and free wood is one of the best.

Congrats Billy...and yes nice execution on that pen, FF looks wonderful.
