this one turned nice, it was the first deer antler i've turned since switching to t.b.c. and man what a treat. no more wobble and no more chatter. i was pulling spiral shavings off of it. and it started out as a pretty thick antler so there was a lot of pith or marrow, whatever you call it. its a "canadiana" at least thats what they call it up here. (how original) its a thin ca finish, i wanted to hold it together without making it look too much like plastic. hope you like it, sorry got a little camera happy too.
cheers.

You will really like tbc when you put a 3.5 inch lgth. round tool rest on your lathe :)

oh trust me, that is very very high on my wish list, the 3 rests that i have now are the flat type and have a tiny nick in them and i get caught in them all the time. maybe i'll buy one for myself as a birthday present

In the meantime, file those nicks out.
