At some point I had to try SnakeWood.
I gave a blank that was cut and drilled with no tubes and said, "See what you can do"
I can tell you it soaked in a solution for three weeks before turning and engraving.

Wow!! Very cool!!

I'm curious about the engraving process - is it done freeehand by the engraver, or is it somehow computerized so it's being done from a digital image?

very, very, neat!

Ron that is very nice. Though I do wish you luck. Keep you fingers crossed (maybe toes too). Thanks for sharing it with us. I really like the way it turned out.

Hey Ron ..... beautiful pen. I have three pieces of snakewood that I am waiting to turn. First though, I'm working on my frustration anxiety level. Could you give me some advice about your "soaking solution" and other anti-crack ideas"
Thanks!
