I decided to call these "Ike" blanks, because right after I made the first sweetgum ball blank, the storm provided me with more raw materials than I can use in a very long time. All freshly stripped from the tree and uniformly dried and colored. I cast these two in Halloween colors, purple/black and gold/orange, and put on a pair of black TI Jr. Gents with matching finials. Tried again, but still can't make these blanks strong enough to do matching centerbands though.

Let me know what you think.

Those pens are just totally cool . Those balls are everywhere in my yard , I hate the darn things . I have to bring some in and try casting a few blanks .
