Huon Professor

Fist time I have made a Professor pen.
I have been trying to decide what blank would suit it.
I thought I would try a nice piece of Huon Pine that I got off Georges Timber a while back.

Beautiful pen and the grain is outstanding. I like the little "dots" in the grain, gives it a bit of character.

Huon burl is really beautiful, the photos just don't do it the justice it deserves. I have a few more bits I got from George, still saving the best til last.
