I to have a piece of Huon Pine from Australia, the fellow that sent it to me said to keep the shavings that they had a very nice aroma, and if you put them in cheese cloth it's like having a room deodorizer, did you notice any great smells from the wood? amazing that the trees are around a thousand years old. Nice pen by the way, Nice tip about not darkening the wood. it has such a mellow color as it is.
