A friend's wife commissioned this--wanted a pocket pen to give as a gift to her husband. This is exactly 5 inches.

In order to make the pen longer, did you just leave the blank a little proud on the tubes, or swap the tubes for longer?

Thanks, Scott. I used a standard 31/64 tube from the El Grande/Churchill/Cambridge series. I think it's 2 inches.

Nice looking El Toro.

I stretched one to almost 3 feet by putting a repacement tube at each end of the blanks for the cap and body (2 of each sized tubes for a total of 4).
