How to create a photo album

Can someone point me in the right direction to create a member photo album. I've searched the FAQ and found the instructions on creating an album but nothing in the FAQ matches what I find in the User CP. I must be overlooking something or doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

All you have to do is click on the Photos button at the top of the page , this will open a new page . On this page you will see some word buttons , click on the Upload button and it will take you to a new page . Click on the catagory drop down menu and choose member photo albums . This will open another page to upload yor photos . Your album will be created automaticaly when you up load your photos .
