With the exception of the chrome cap, I like the Arete fountain pen. I really like the nib and the smooth writing action. I wish that they made the kit with a different cap. I thought that a Honeycomb blank featuring the aluminum cells might work with the cap so I dug out one of my cast off honey comb blanks (it was from an end cut from the Honeycomb and had irregular cells) and made myself a pen.
