I made these using a piece of Bethlehem olive wood and cocobolo as the cross. The olivewood came back with a friend who went to Israel on his honeymoon.
One is a pen one is a pencil. Kits are from Woodcraft. Titanium black and titanium gold. I am hiring a friend to start taking pics for me. These pics do not do justice to how well these "turned" out.

Those are absolutely gorgeous. Is there anything in the library explaining the process? I would surely love to replicate your pens. I have friends that would really appreciate a pen such as yours.
