home brew oak burl

NOthing new except the oak burl on the TN comfort pen came from a burl cap on my friends property in northern Michigan. I would have used it on a better kit had I expected it to come out so nice. I have enough to make two, maybe three more pens. I'll be more selective next time.
The yellow swirl celluloid just seemed like a natural for this kit.

Both pens look great. I have a black chrome cigar kit that I'm trying to match up with something myself. I think it really brings out the black in whatever you match it up with.
