sorry for the less than great pics, learning a new camera and don't know all the features yet!

Pair of Jr Statesmen, Sheetim Acacia blanks from "Monty"....turns and works like other Acacias I have turned, wonderful chatoyance! Standard CA finish. (well, standard for me :wink:)

Looks nice.. and the finish doesn't compete with the figuring of the wood!

Is it my eyes, or is the lower tube of the bottom pen reversed?

The work is great, and the wood is so special, Jon you did job on the finish as well, thanks for showing them I have wondered for some time what Shittam looked like, it's history is fascinating.

It's your eyes! The blank had 2 sections showing different colors. Didn't get a pic with the "face" showing because the other pen was so much more interesting! The fountain kinda got ignored. Attached is the RB closed.
