This cool piece of oak came in the box from JHS494 who I was paired with for the twisted blank swap. Very cool piece so thanks for sharing it with me joe!!! I've never seen oak anything like this!!

Nice looking pen Jeff! That is an awesome looking piece of wood.
I actually received a few blanks of this oak from gokartergo during the Birthday bash. It is so unique I had to pass a blank on to you during the twisted swap.

My CA finish is starting to come along nicely. I have about 8 or 9 under my belt now and they come out great! I'm sharing everything I know (which isn't much!) with my dad and his are coming along too! Hopefully I'll get him to post some pics one of these days!!
