Something real special! It took me a year of negotiating to get a few pieces of this wood.

This pen is made using Oak from HMS Victory. Lord Nelsons ship from the battle of Trafalgar. Wood like this needs the right components to do it justice.

I chose a Kathina fountain pen in black titanium. Simple, classy and not overcooked.

Finish is CA

Very nice, Stephen !!!!! . And historic !!!!! . I have some of that wood but am "loathe" to put it on the lathe !!!!!

That's a Kathina kit, is it ? . Looks like a close relative of a Gran Torino kit and also a Zen .

Glorious Pen, Stephen.
Magnificent Blank, when it comes to History and a Story, they don't come any better.
I love the Superb Colour and Grain,
I don't know why, but I expected it to be darkened and stained with age, and exposure, but is Dramatic and Vibrant in its Colour and so Expressive in Grain.
Thank You for Matching it with such a Beautiful and Worthy Pen.
Your Treatment has been Outstanding.
Congratulations.
Brian.
