A Rare Burmese Teak Pen made using the Teak from H.M.S. Iron Duke .
The Iron Duke was Admiral Jellicoe's Flagship during WW1 and was in action in Jutland in 1916.
The ship was broken and the teak made into small trinkits like Barrels.
To get timber big enough to turn a pen is rare.
I am fortunate enough to have salvaged up to 50 blanks big enough for turning pens.

Wonderful Pen Thomas, with most Impressive Provenance.
Superb Profile, Fit and Finish,
Though I do not recognise the Hardware, it is Most Appropriate and Compliments the Burmese Teak Beautifully.
Congratulations Great Work.
Brian.
