African Blackwood on a Slimline style ballpoint. Silk threads and brass lotus flower buttons from Nepal. Something a little different to break out of the mold.

It is definitely different. Nice workmanship, but it's a little too far out of the mold for my taste.

very cool, I like it. Might not sell right off, but I bet it makes people stop to look and ask, and a good percentage of them may well buy something else. I would try to work some kind of information card or description into my display with it. With the title large enough to read from the middle of the walkway, but the rest of the print small enough that you have to walk right up to the table to read it.

Martin,
Pretty darn creative, if you ask me. Blackwood is fun. My favorite is a heartwood/sapwood mix. People always ask me how I glued the two woods together.
