HELP picture

I am having trouble getting a good shot of an acrylic pen I turned today. What tips do you have for taking a picture worthy of posting?

This is not the correct forum for the question. It belongs in the photography forum. This is where we post pictures of our work and get some feedback from the other members. Having said that, welcome to the IAP. If you go to the photo forum and show us what the photos you have look like, I'm fairly sure you will get the help you need.
