I need help finding a post from a few months ago by a talented member who designed several pens and was kind enough to post instructions on how he created his work. The pens were made by turning one blank and gluing inside of a second. He followed this by turning the joined blanks, applying a layer of masking tape, marking the tape with a precise spiral and then filing out a spiral with a rasp.
I appreciate any help that can be given and I need to try to do better at keeping notes of interesting ideas that I'd like to keep track of.

Thanks Vick. I did eventually find Tom's work again by searching under "spiral". I searched his non-archived posts and still don't see the string I racall where he detailed how he laid out the spiral. I'll keep hunting because I'm stuck. All I remember is the evenly spaced tick marks on the tape but how he got the spiral drawn has me stumped.
