Hi all
On my previous post ( http://www.penturners.org/forum/f13/three-handmade-marquetry-pens-118694/ ) I presented 3 handmade marquetry pens made exclusively from wood. I worked further and created 4 marquetry pens using a combination of different materials such as aluminum, brass, copper, mother of pearl, abalone, straw and wood.
the names of the pens are
1)orchid materials mother of pearl, palisandre and ebony
2)skulls materials brass,aluminum and ebony
3)butterfly materials straw, aluminum, copper, mother of pearl and ebony
4)wind rose materials olive, ebony, mother of pearl, abalone (a custom made pen with the name of the client on it).

All the pens are completely handmade and have been cut with scrollsaw - no laser use.

Absolutely, Brilliant Pens, Dimitris.
As a Marquetry Artist, you are Superb,
Glorious Blanks, Materials and Craftsmanship.
Your cross over from Marquetry, to Pen Making has been to our gain, and you have lost nothing in the transition.
Excellent Fit and Finish,
It is a shame that the photographs were not a little clearer.
I can't wait to see future postings.
Congratulations,
Brian.

Very beautiful work! I love these even more than your first pens, and I really admire those.

You are using pretty materials and turning them into wonderful pieces of art!

Those pens are fantastic. I would appreciate knowing more about your method for creating these works of art.
