I finished up a bunch of pens today, so I thought I might share them with you...

This first one is my first Churchill. Made from crosscut Koa. This wasn't the most exciting piece of Koa but it turned out pretty nice.

Next up is a Flat Top made from Buckeye in Satin nickle.

This one is a Round Top Euro made from really swirly Black Walnut. Pretty stuff!

Another Round Top this time with Amboyna Burl.

Here's a Slim Line with Bocote. (don't tell anyone but I used the wrong tubes... That's why there's extra hardware in the middle)

Last one is a Flat Top rollerball again from Koa. Not crosscut this time..

While I don't like the style of pens or at least the stock photo's they use to sell them.
The finish of the wood is quite good - and if they had your photo's in their adds - they would sell way more of the pens that they do.

Dang that is some nice finish on pen #1 - and that black walnut is top notch too.

Bradbn4 - still having fun in Colorado

No fair!!!! Everyone else picked my two favorites before I even had a chance to look at them! (Been slaving over a hot lathe all day!) The Churchill is immaculate, and.......what can you say about a beautiful piece of walnut??? Nice job!

Thank you all very much. You are too kind...

The finish on all of them is CA, polished with micro-mesh, then polished again with 3M Foam pad polishing glaze.

Thanks again everybody...
