I'm wondering is anyone is making pens with Halloween themes.
Thought I'd dig one up from the past. I made this in 2008 for a Halloween Pen contest held on another forum. I made it out of black drain pipe. Cut out pieces of the pipe, clued 3 layers together and scrolled the bats in it with a scroll saw. Did 3 more layers and scrolled bats again. On the other side there are 2 bats on the top piece and one on the bottom. Then glued the two layers together. Filled the cut out bats with epoxy tainted orange with epoxy mixed with orange Testors model paint. Mounted it on the lathe and turned it to fit a cigar pen kit. It was great fun. My Daughter claimed the pen when I finished. She is a big Halloween fan.
