I had been going back and forth on my finish preference on this tommy gun, originally I had parkerized it. I wasn't really "digging" the parkerized finish so today I glass beaded and blued it. I personally think it looks better, just wondering what you guys think>>>>:cat:

Yep, correct choice though it was still cool before.
I couldn't see so well in the previous pics, but in these ones you can see what a stunning piece of wood you used too!!! Top marks!! You can stay at the top of the class!!:biggrin:

It looks great both ways. I must admit that, being a wood guy, I spent more time looking at the gorgeous stock and grips than I did at the finish on the metal bits.

Ingenious work, as usual.

Either way it looks great but as you said with these photos the wood stands out the best to me. Stunning pieces of wood. Make for a nice pen blank also.

Jim that piece would look good painted Barbie Pink !! seriously while the parkerized finish looked good, the Bluing really sets the wood off a bit better. Nice work, or did I already say that <LOL>

Still "FEEKIN AWESSOME" Jim.

Funny.....when I was a little kid had a play tommy gun colored the way you had it before so I like that color, but I ended up spraying it black because I liked the look of it.......Didnt have the great walnut??? grips though.

:musical-note: Walkin down the street,

I thought the first time was as near perfect as possible. Now I know it wasn't. Whoda thunk it? You did actually improve on perfection. Congratulations.
