Gunmetal Civil War Pen in Unknown Wood.

I of 10 that I need to make. The wood was from a box of goodies from I Isaac. If anyone knows what it is please let me know. Finshed with around 10 CA sanded and sanded again through all the colored pads then polished with Novus.

I certainly do not qualify as an expert on wood species, but it sure does favor a couple of my briar Petersons. Probably not likely that it's briar.

I don`t think its Amboyna. It was a small block dull light olive, tan in color and solid and heavy.

I would have to concur. although I had to grab my Dunhill, But yes I would have to say it is Briair Burl.

I am 100% sure the wood is Afzelia Africana. I have plenty of it at home and I can match it.
