Guess The Material, I think it is a first

OK, it is time to play, guess the material. Today we have an interesting multi-colored blank on a sierra. Can you guess what it is? I personally have never seen a pen made out of only this material before. But perhaps you have.

Actually it is Mustang Paint. My uncle worked for Ford and would pick up chunks of the stuff. Told me, mess with it see what you can do, but I doubt you could make a pen out of it. IS THAT A CHALLENGE?!? Only Sandpaper as it breaks off easily. Every time I put a tool to it, even with the lightest touch, it would break off as seen on the back side. I left it proud because I was nervous about taking it down any further. Next time it will be a vista kit.

How did you finish it? I mean is it coated with a protective clear coat?
