Guyacan is the genuine Lignum Vitae. This piece had some really wild figure..I have turned the Argentine Lignum but this stuff was harder, denser and oilier. Im happy that I was able to get the ca finish to stick to it. I wiped the blanks down with accetone several times, then with accelerator. The wood came from West Penn Hardwoods

Still have a few of these Woodworker pencils that CSUSA discontinued a couple of years ago
woods are Chaktae Viga, Curly Pyinma, and East Indian Rosewood

Ditto remarks previously made have great respect for your pen and pencils. That lignum is my kind of grain and exquisite colour with great depth. Happen to like those pencils as well.

Regards Peter.

Harold,

My wife is cursing your name! After seeing this, I had to go and buy some (she says I spend too much money on this hobby - she will get ovet it). I hope mine come out as beautiful as yours.
