Been a while since I posted some new pens.

This is Norfolk Pine, one of my favourite woods but super hard to get. Often has checks in it and I filled this with crushed turquoise. My Nieces call it grumpy pen!

Creatively Beautiful !!!! . What's the kit, please ?

The kit is Accord from Woodcraft. One of my favourite kits. Well made, weighty, easy to assemble and feels solid! Not cheap though! $20. In true Woodcraft fashion, the bushings don't fit well and the tubes are too thick for the appropriate barrel trimmer, which has to be thinned to fit.

You don't see a lot of pens made with Norfolk Pine and I don't know why. Nice job making the blank and filling the checks, I like the contrast between the turquoise and orange. This reminds me of one of the first pens I turned and sold - a Slimline with a stabilized Norfolk Pine blank that I bought. It wasn't particularly striking but it was pretty in a subtle way. Apparently the person that bought it thought so to!
