I promised that I would post this earlier. I don't have the light box set up due to Christmas stuff taking up the table so sorry for the bad photo. This is grey box burl that we got from Nolan a while back. The colors in it are amazing and I wish the photo would show it off. The pen is slightly proud on the bottom so it is now a new daily pen. Lucky me! [:p]

Nice pen Mike.[:)][:)] I know Grey Box well. The timber can be difficulut to split with an axe but makes great firewood - And even better pens by the looks of things!
Whe I was in Sth.Wst. New South Wales the locals could tell you the extent of the massive 1956 flood bythe line of Grey Box trees that had sprouted because the seeds had been carried there by the water.
