This is the second of my Vertex supreme pens taht I have made. I really like the kit with the chrome and gold accents. On this one I used carbon fiber with a transparent green tint that the carbon fiber makes look darker then a lighter color would. I think this pen has a rich look to it.

The blank and the kit really work well together.
One comment - If I remember right, the center band is part of the pen and not part of the pen cap. I have always tried to line up shapes on a pen - maybe the end cap hex angles would be better if they aligned with the center band and the nib assy.
Other than that, I may try this combination - I really like it.

Gordon, you are right. I didn't even notice or think about that. I will be tapping this one apart and lining the center section and the clip section up.
