This is green burled maple with some gold twisted thread I found at Wal Mart. I want all you pro's to let me know what you thing.
I'm no photographer either so maybe yall (i'm from the south) can help with that to. I'm here to learn. Fill free to critique any thing in my album also. I'm tough. I can take it.

yeah, howdja get that thread in there?? Great lookin' pen, neighbor! (southerners here too). Not sure how you loaded the picture, but click on "Insert image" with the little paper clip to get it full size. When I click on the thumbnail, I get a great lookin' photo! Great job!

I'm new to this and i'm old. this new fangled electronic wizardry is to much for me.
I made a grove using an engraving bit and a dremel. Glued in the thread and filled in any gaps with thick CA. Finished with CA.

Nice looking pen and a clever idea. But, what's that thing the pen is leaning against? I have some stuff around my barn that sort of looks like that?[}:)][xx(]
