Green dragon w/ black cigar

This is "Green Dragon" from Beartoothwoods. I ordered three of those blanks and all three look very different other than the colors, this is just one of the blanks. I like this material, good stuff and easy to turn.

Black cigar pen from Beartooth, also. One day I will take a class in photography (or spend a buck and make a photobooth)

I have to agree... that's a pretty good set of photos as well as the pen. Nice choice of hardware also IMHO. []

The temptation to slice it into blanks has to be resisted every day. I have to keep reminding myself that I can get mallee burl blanks all day long on the internet but nice burl caps like this one that I hand-pick are hard to find.
