This is my first attempt to use multiple colored wood from different tubes to make an inlay pen. In the past I would cut out the pieces, dye them individually, and then put it back together. They didn't fit so I went to a laser clinic and learned how to use the contour tool to account for the "kerf" of the laser. The pieces fit very tightly, you have to use a magnifying glass to see the separation.

Thats sharp... but you're putting yourself into serious danger zone with the NFL being one of the top that goes after their licensing and logo usage.

And we are seeing more and more pens like these...decals...labels...laser inlays....using company logos. I hope those who do this are paying the appropriate fees. I suppose someone will have to get into serious trouble to make the members here realize it can happen.

The pen is really nice and well done, by the way.

Do a good turn daily!
