Graduation Gift

A good friend of ours just graduated from Univ of West Georgia, and DrStrangefart happened to give me a piece of oak from the campus. Thought it would be cool to make a pen from it. I had her name lasered in, just for fun too !!! (She really liked it BTW)

Recently viewed the fourth Pirate film and your pen with so much texture reminded me of driftwood with so much strength that Oak has.
The master stroke was to permanently associate both the Campus and the friends name in the one that now becomes identified clearly as the act of friend to friend the true definition of friendship.
