Been having some fun in the shop the past couple of days. Here's two I finished up earlier today. I got the blank prepped for a Zen and measured the last bit of blank and it was JUST enough for an Aero. Since I drill on the lathe I was a bit nervous drilling all the way through, but I didn't get a blowout. Took it nice and gentle for the last 1/8" and it went fine. The blank itself is one of mine. Finish is MM to 12000 and polished with PlastX.

First is the Chrome Zen:

Jonathon,
What color did you reverse paint and what brand? Looks great! I am eager to start on the 13 blanks just received. My lathe will be back from the repair shop this week.

Thanks Roy! I hope the blanks stand up to your quality of work. I remember some of those blanks, I hope to get to see some of them!

Thanks Bill! On this one I used Ceramcoat acrylic paint and mixed equal parts Navy Blue & Turquoise together. It'd be a really good color to use for your vintage blue blanks.
