Default Got a unique blank on this one.

So a friend of mine sent me two blanks that he ordered from someone else and I've turned the one so far. It's on the new Duraclick which has a very nice mechanism on it also. Might get around to the second one tonight.

I'm usually not a fan of the honeycomb casts due to subtle lack of symetry in places (MY problem, not the casters'), but your blank is very nice. The finished pen is well done and is a great combination with this kit - which is appearing here more often.

Thanks for sharing.

That is one of the nicest combined casting and turning of a honeycomb blank that I have ever seen !! .. Congratulations !!

There is plenty of symmetry evident here and it is a superb pen !!!

The aluminum honeycomb suits the kit very well and I love the color variations in each of the cells. Wasn’t sure whether I liked the look of the Duraclick kit the first couple of times I saw it, but i think it looks fantastic here.

I also just bought some of this kit and hope to turn the first one this Saturday, since it will be snowing and blowing all day. Will spring never come?
